About me:
Daniel Michel designs layouts and sites for both corporate and non-corporate clients. He has been in site design since 2001 and officially launched his career with 347media in early 2004. Although he specializes in design, Daniel Michel is very computer literate, and has been an avid software and hardware enthusiast in excess of 10 years. Daniel Michel has a working knowledge of PHP and MySQL back-ends, and through various partnerships and collaboration has the resources to work on sites scaling from a very small, simple web presence through online fronts for massive enterprises. Daniel Michel has the ability to work design both in print and digitally, and actually started with print work before a move to predominantly digital design. Currently, Daniel Michel has two sites in his working portfolio. Daniel Michel employs different philosophies with different clients because he does not believe that a singular approach works effectively when tackling a multitude of problems inherent with any particular project. When working with individual professionals Daniel Michel likes to hone on his client’s particular identity. Daniel Michel prefers to “color” his clients; that is to say he believes that the client’s presence on the web should wholly represent them. Thus the site’s theme and feel are altered to convey the true meaning and self of the client in a totally unique and fulfilling way. Daniel Michel aims to take his clients past individual names; he strives to make them icons. When Daniel Michel works with corporate and organizational entities he focuses on clarity and usability. Sites are kept clean, minimalistic and non-distracting. The allotted focus of the user is never abused, and is drawn toward the most beneficial areas of the site. Daniel Michel often gets very invested when confronted with new, fresh ideas for sites, and awards them the extra effort in dedication to the cause.
